Perform moisture analysis on material used in dryerReport/update moisture content and resin lot informationEnsure that all machines are running with the maximum permissible regrind percentagesMaintain resin silo board Lot # as well as material typeMaintain all material lines and vacuum hoseMaintain material in dryers and ensure material is dried before it is usedTrouble shoot and resolve issues with the Material Handling SystemStart-up and shut down of all equipment in the Material Handling SystemEnsure all machines do not run out of material – change Gaylord in a timely mannerPerform colour changes on production runsRemove empty and partial Gaylords and skids at end of the shift and/or upon a tool changeClean dryer; blender and material handling pump filters every shiftCommunicate with following shift Material Handler (i.e. Material handling issues, etc.)May be required to work overtime when necessaryPerform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplaceComply with the requirements of C-TPAT/PIPConduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of ConductReport all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behaviorAdhere to applicable quality systems and IATF16949 standardsAdhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee HandbookParticipate in and support Continuous Improvement initiativesMaintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standardsEnsure work area is kept neat and organizedPerform other duties as requiredQualifications:
EDUCATION:
Minimum completion of Grade 12 diplomaEXPERIENCE:
Experienced lift truck operator, valid Fork Lift Operator LicenseMinimum 2 years’ experience in moulding/assemblyExperience in automotive industry an assetSKILLS:
