**Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Echo Park, CA.** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician who have experience in painting, patching, plumbing, and electrical work. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a maintenance helper and will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of the building. **Responsibilities** + Perform minor electrical maintenance including replacing lightbulbs and removing/installing general light fixtures. + Perform minor plumbing maintenance such as replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, and replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices. + Conduct daily walkthroughs of hospital grounds to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repairs. + Reconfigure, install, position, and/or remount office furniture and space including furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, and file cabinets to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand tools. + Adjust doors, fit locks and handles, and perform other minor duties. + Order parts and maintain required documents. + Perform other **Job Description** + Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5p for the first month..
