For information about ABM’s benefits,** ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) (https://wpe-media.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Frontline\_Spanish\_v2\_9.5.24.pdf) A Handyman is generally responsible for electrical, mechanical and plumbing related repairs. **Basic Qualifications:** • Must be 18 years of age or older • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required • At least two (2) year experience supporting mission critical environments • Hands on electrical or mechanical skill, and competence in the area of non-expertise • Knowledge and experience using basic computer applications **Responsibilities:** • Operates facility equipment in accordance with policies and procedures • Perform daily/weekly/monthly walk-through of customer facilities in support of data center and office operations • Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns • Perform electrical repairs in community areas, including lights and laundry. * Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary. *Complete general building cleaning and maintenance. *Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed. *Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building. *Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility. *Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required. • Ensure compliance with established Methods of Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures • Works overtime as assigned and required • Familiar with all applicable Federal, State, and local rules, codes, and regulations • Interact effectively with internal and external customers A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
