Hangar Facilities Technician
Johnson Service Group is seeking Hangar Facilities Technician for a  contract assignment.  This role is Salinas, CA . Previous facilities technician experience Responsible for facilities repairs and keeping the hangar clean Will assist the ground support mechanic where possible  Welding & fabrication experience (not a deal breaker but preferred)  Class A CDL (bonus qualification, not required) 

What You’ll Do:
? Carryout preventive maintenance schedules and generate reports for infrastructure equipment
? Respond to emergency site maintenance as required
? Be the main point of contact for facilities related vendors such as fuel deliveries, site services, electricians, contractors
? Clean and organize shop and facilities spaces such as metal shop, hangar storage spaces, and other back shop facilities
? Keep Archers Flight Test hangar fl oor clean and organized
? Breakdown boxes, pallets, and other debris for proper disposal
? Assist with the maintenance of Flight Test ground support equipment (GSE) and ground operations as necessary
? Ensures a clean, organized, and professional workplace up to 5S standards, FOD prevention, and tool control.
? Provide plans and status updates back to the Airfi eld Ground Operations Manager on assigned projects
? Work from a variety of technical materials such as blueprints, schematics, handbooks, drawings, and work orders providing feedback as required
? Meet scheduled timelines and, in some cases, aggressive deadlines to meet project milestones
? Assume any duties as delegated by the Airfi eld Ground Operations Manager
What You Need:
? 5+ years of experience as a facilities technician
? Advanced troubleshooting and repair of machine mechanics, electrical motor controls, pneumatic controls, hydraulic systems, gas-fi red equipment
? Hands-on construction experience including painting, concrete repair, and plumbing
? Experience working with high voltage electrical systems

? The ability to push/pull lift up to 75lbs at times
? Ability to drive continuous improvement activities to exceed expectations and help promote a professional shop and organized environment
? Working Hours: Ability to work a fl exible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays and in indoor and outdoor environments
? Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time

Bonus Qualifi cations:
? Forklift license
? Previous experience in the aerospace industry
? Welding and fabrication experience
? Class A CDL
? Multi-process welding
? Experience working with CAD, NX, Confl uence, JIRA
