Act as a representative of Mitie carrying out work at Sutton Civic Offices & Central Library, including over 60 small buildings/schools offices, as detailed by the Engineering Manager. Conduct yourself in a professional manner in support of our customer and work colleagues. Operational responsibility to deliver a first class service and meeting the required KPI's/SLA's upon the contracted and reactive works, from the customers
Job Overview To ensure all works are delivered on time and to the agreed specification Delegate work to day engineering teams, and in conjunction with the help Desk Team Training the teams as required including delivering Tool box talks and team briefs Checking paperwork and service standards completed by the engineers Managing sub contractors Carry out allocated service work within agreed time schedules, adhering to the Mitie Maintenance Quality Management System and quality policy, and to the relevant industry guidelines and customer specifications Complete reports and paperwork as instructed by the Engineering Manager Take responsibility for your own training needs and bring them to the attention of the engineering Manager Arrange quotes if required, in a timely manner & submit to the client in a professional manner for approval Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, specific company requirements approved by the Health & Safety Executive and the latest regulations and codes of good practice Ensure that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales. Be knowledgeable of contract SLA's & KPI'sMain Duties
Ensure that tool box talks are completed and sent Ensure jobs are completed to a good standard and within the SLA timeframe set Ensure PPM's are completed within month and remedial issues are raised, recorded and remedied Ensure there is always 1 x engineering discipline in through annual leave management Carry out PPM and reactive tasks where needed – set the example to the engineers· Ensure site process and site rules are followed by all at all times Raise health and safety concerns to Engineering manager Support the field engineers out of the office when required To organise and supervise sub-contractors as and when required Carry out any works as required to support opertaional delivery on site. This could include jobs that are not your core trade.What we are looking for The candidate should have had at least 3 years experience supervising a team of engineers. Electrical and mechanical knowledge (Fault finding, drives, control systems, electrical motors) Proven ability working in a corporate engineering environment Preferably mechanical bias engineer Ideally served a recognised trade training scheme Ability to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract IOSH Managing safely or similar Customer care/relationship building skills Able to work as a member of a team Able to work without direct supervision Able to conduct surveys throughout client sites Able to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company
