Actalent's client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to work on new products, working on hardware, PCB and circuit design.
This position requires recent experience working in Altium.
Description:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for product design and rapid development of products and hardware development.
Daily Duties:
Assist in the development during the full product life cycle.Help support and maintain existing products as they are developedIndependently drive solutions to completionConnect with and coordinate with engineers in multiple sitesEnsure these projects follow the appropriate standard process used (such as 3D and agile).Develop functional block diagram for hardware design risk assessmentHardware design & manage PCBA buildCircuit design, simulation and analysisCircuit and product risk assessment (P Diagram, FMEA)Develop BOM, product costing and manage PCBA buildProduct development, validation, regulatory and production planningDevelop project plan for system developmentCreate validation plan for device and lead risk assessment for manufacturingReview product assembly flow plan for controls and containmentSupport product approval for productionCollaborate with other functions such as sourcing, operations, customer support, etc. to ensure on-time product launches as well as post-launch support.Execute project to established timeline with tight budgetary controlsQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Electrical EngineeringProfessional experience in hardware circuit design & development.Altium experienceInternship or professional experience in schematic capture, simulation, pcb stack and layout build.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00
The Engineer will need to be at the Milwaukee office for 2-3 days in a week 401k, PTO, health benefits
