Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer

Job Description

Create detailed design drawings using AutoCAD, focusing on motor control panels, PLC panels, and associated control systems primarily for material handling equipment in the parcel post business. Responsibilities include creating detail drawings for 480v power schematics, 120v power schematics, I/O drawings, and field device layouts.

ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed design drawings using AutoCAD.Design motor control panels, PLC panels, and associated control systems.Develop detail drawings for 480v power schematics, 120v power schematics, I/O drawings, and field device layouts.Ensure designs comply with electrical codes and standards, such as UL508A and NEC.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD design.Experience in electrical design and hardware design engineering.Knowledge and understanding of control systems.Basic understanding of electrical codes and standards such as UL508A and NEC.Additional Skills & QualificationsAutoCAD Electrical experience is preferred.Strong attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving skills.Work Environment

Our Client is a relatively new company, approximately 10 years old, with a modern office space built around the same time. The company has grown to about 100 employees, including 50 engineers. They specialize in controls upgrades and integration for various systems, including airport baggage handling and material handling systems for major clients like Toyota, GE, UPS, and FedEx. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00
