Job Description
We are seeking a Entry Level Power Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing motor control power electronics throughout the product development lifecycle. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and manufacturers to translate designs into production and provide technical guidance to support project schedules and product costs.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop motor control power electronics from concept to production.Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure successful product integration.Provide technical guidance to support project schedules and product costs.Utilize appropriate tools and resources for design conception, analysis, testing, and verification.Work within a multidisciplinary team, including Hardware, Software, Mechanical, and Application teams.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree with specialization in motor control electronics preferred.0-3+ years of experience in analog/digital circuit design and power electronics.Proficiency with PSPICE circuit simulation software, PCB schematic capture, and layout tools.Experience in designing Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) and Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuits.Experience with microcontroller/DSP-based hardware development for motor control applications.Strong interpersonal, presentation, written, and oral communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with designing electronics for HVAC or appliance industries.Experience with CAD tools such as Cadence Allegro and Altium.Proficiency with oscilloscopes and power supplies.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $100000.00
Hybrid Schedule: Required 3 days a week in the office (core - Tu, W, Th) - preference is 4 days
Tteam consists of around 20 engineers between Hardware and Software
Will also interact with the Mechanical and Application teams
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Saint Louis,MO.
