They are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Orange County. Your Mission: As an Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, developing the next generation of IFEC systems. Your role will involve the board-level design, testing, and documentation of new, state-of-the-art IFEC products. What You Will Be Doing: + Design and develop electronic circuits and PCB assemblies. + Utilize your knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, eDP, USB, DDR4, or equivalents. + Design DC-DC converters with a strong emphasis on digital design and analysis. + Perform qualitative and quantitative tests to determine properties, characteristics, and performance of materials, circuits, mechanisms, assemblies, and systems. + Analyze test data and ensure compliance with specifications and product requirements. + Verify embedded firmware and higher-level software functionality of the product. + Apply problem-solving methods to assure compliance with all product requirements. What You Will Bring to the Table: + Ability to design against requirements from specifications, oral instructions, or preliminary sketches. + Lead the analysis and design of electronic circuits, and implement test methods and procedures. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to prepare technical reports and documentation. + Resolve a wide range of design challenges with innovative solutions. Education and Experience: + BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (MS in Electrical Engineering preferred). + Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher mathematics, electronics, and circuit design. + Hands-on experience with digital or analog simulators. + Three or more years of experience with: + Microprocessor-based designs. + High-speed interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, or DDR4. + Power conversion, specifically DC-DC converters. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
