\n\nYou will work out of our Minneapolis, MN location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.
\n\nIn this role, you will have a direct impact on the development of our factory test equipment and contribute to the success of our Ring Laser Gyro and Inertial Measurement products. Your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our hardware designs.

Key Responsibilities
\n\n\n\tSupport design efforts for test equipment for the Factories.\n\tApply technical troubleshooting skills and knowledge to Factory Test Equipment (FTE).\n\tAnalyze hardware failures with assistance from Software engineers in pinpointing failure modes.\n\tTranslate troubleshooting solutions into design improvement ideas for the FTE.\n\tParticipate in design activities for FTE via circuit design (analog and digital), schematic and BOM generation, board layout.\n\tGenerate programmable logic as appropriate for board-level designs.\n\tUse Laboratory facilities to test and understand prototypes and actual Factory Test Equipment during engineering development tasks.\n\tIntegration of test solution designs into working systems for the Factory.\n\tParticipate in cost estimates for new design tasks.\n\tParticipate in design reviews during development of Factory Test Equipment projects.\n\tInterface with vendors and suppliers for BOM development and acquisition of parts for prototyping or build.\n\tOversee the build and checkout of Factory Test Equipment.\n\tGenerate engineering documents for the FTE – schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, specifications, etc.\n\n\n*** Relocation Package Available ***

The annual base salary range for this position is $86,400 - $105,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

\n\n\n\tBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as materials science, engineering, or a related field\n\tMinimum of 3 years of experience as a hardware engineer or in a similar role.\n\tStrong knowledge of hardware design ethics and practices\n\tProficiency in using hardware design tools and software\n\n\nWE VALUE
\n\n\n\tDegree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering or a related field.\n\tBasic knowledge of hardware engineering standards and specifications.\n\tExperience with engineering design tools (Schematic Capture, Board Layout, Programmable Logic).\n\tTroubleshooting capability to isolate failure modes and implement solutions.\n\tExcellent computer literacy.\n\tAbility to focus on important information and identify key details.\n\tCapability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on given project tasks.\n\tApplication of basic engineering techniques to optimize design of products, parts, systems or processes.\n\tClear and concise communication and presentation skills.\n\tAbility to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.\n\tExperience with lab test equipment (Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Function Generator).\n\tWillingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done and do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.\n\n\nABOUT HONEYWELL
