Volt is immediately hiring a Hardware Engineer LV1 in Fremont, CA
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
As Hardware Engineer LV1, you will be.
\r\n\r\n
\r\nCharge of the HW testing and debug environment setup, assist to identify the related hardware engineering issue, communicate with HQ team and vendors to make product can be delivered on time.
\r\n
Duties/Responsibilities:
\r\nAssist the engineers to solve the engineering issue timely.
\r\nSet up HW testing and debug environment.
\r\ncollaborate with R&D to find out the root cause.
Support the manufacturing debug team troubleshoot.
\r\nCollaborates closely with cross-functional teams to R&D, manufacturing, and customer.
\r\nMeasure the signal waveform and support the bring up test
\r\n
Required Skills/Abilities:
\r\nOperate the oscilloscope and Digital multi-meter
\r\nSolder wire and rework PCB board
\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
\r\nExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
\r\nExcellent organizational skills and diligence.
\r\nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
\r\nHighly Emotional intelligence skills.
\r\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.
\r\nAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
\r\nAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
\r\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
\r\nProficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:
\r\nBachelor’s degree, master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, with a minimum 1 year of professional experience.
\r\nKnowledge of/Experience in/Proficiency in server/storage/PC hardware architecture
\r\nDemonstrated analytical critical thinking skills and communication skills.
\r\nExperience working in manufacturing and/or product development role.
\r\nFirsthand lab debug experience with scopes is desirable.
\r\nExperience in designing circuit boards is desirable.
\r\n
Location: Fremont, CA
\r\n\r\nPay:?$31-$43 Hourly
