We are hiring a Laboratory Technician, eMobility. This position is located out of Peachtree Corners GA but will be moving to Atlanta in 2025.
Position Overview
Laboratory Technician – Power electronic development for AC, DC Charging technology
Coordination of activities related to hardware laboratory Responsibilities over entire tools and equipment inventory Support of sample and prototype build Direct report to LP Engineering managerYou will make a difference by:
Laboratory Technician in the eMobility (AC, DC charging technology) Closely work with AC, DC hardware development team and support laboratory related activities Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments Prepare and supervise experiments Board level rework including soldering BGA components. Debug of boards and systems during the bring up and testing phases Run proprietary test programs to verify functionality of early hardware prototypes Coordinate shipping and receiving of parts and systems Ordering of spare parts, rework components, all lab supplies. Manage calibration services of laboratory equipment Production of engineering samples and engineering test fixtures.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience with the following: Experience as a Hardware Technician Electrical systems design as Lab Technician Proven experience as Lab Technician or relevant position Experience in operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment and potentially dangerous substances Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems Excellent experience and skill in electronic rework and proven ability to solder and work with components in all sizes from 01005 passive components to large BGA type ICs. Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. No travel requiredPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of electronics experience General knowledge of computer systems and components like power supplies, memory, processors and GPUs.You’ll benefit from:

The pay range for this position is $53,000 - $90,900. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
