Overview of Job Function:
The Hardware Logistics Technician, Operations will configure, test, and troubleshoot various Verint systems. Integrate all DVRs with the appropriate Verint and third-party software and any additional hardware that is required. Support all business units as a hardware resource. Work with R&D and the Technical Support team in analyzing, and monitoring hardware performance, including quality control.
This position also requires warehouse responsibilities which includes lifting, packing, and stacking Verint products as well as shipping and receiving.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot and test, products returned from customer sites. Document test results and findings including report and track trends in failures. Test and configure inventory parts and DVRs for delivery and/or prior to receiving to stock. Perform preventive maintenance or calibration of lab equipment. Data entry of repair cycle in Oracle CRM. Serve as hardware knowledge resource for support staff. Upgrade and test firmware on all video equipment. Assist in gathering, verifying, and lifting/packing items according to specifications for shipping. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3+ years of combined experience in logistics/warehouse including shipping/receiving and electronic troubleshooting and debugging. Ability to use standard and specialized hand and power tools, and a pallet jack. Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Good analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong interpersonal/customer relations skills. Strong team player and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Independent thinker and responsible teammate. Good time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and others. Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.Preferred Requirements:
Experience with Oracle ERP system. Experience with Agile software.
