Hardware Operator
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Hardware Operator to join their team. As a Hardware Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Hardware Operator **Location:** Stockton, CA **Pay Range:** $19-21/hour depending on experience **Shift:** Day Shift Monday-Friday **What's the Job?** + Installs Press-fit and other types of hardware into parts using hardware presses and other purpose-built tools and machinery. + Accepts and follows priorities assigned and selects tooling, setting up for each job. + Installs all types of PEM and similar press-in hardware, including press-in Southco, flare-in Southco, nutserts, and similar hardware. + Determines proper installation height with dial calipers and visually assesses correct installation. + Reads and interprets blueprints to ensure quality handling and stacking of parts. **What's Needed?** + Ability to read and understand written documents. + Ability to work as early as 4:30am + 1 year of experience in precision sheet metal, with at least 6 months focused on installing hardware. + Knowledge of hardware types, including thread pitches both standard and metric. + Proficiency in using dial calipers to measure material thickness and installation heights. + Basic arithmetic skills such as addition and subtraction. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. + Gain hands-on experience with advanced hardware installation techniques. + Develop your skills in reading blueprints and precision measurement. + Be part of a company that values quality and craftsmanship. + Potential for career growth within the organization.
