Hardware/PC Technician
Description We are offering a contract for a Hardware/PC Technician role in Orange, Connecticut, United States. The primary focus of this role is on hardware troubleshooting and setup, as well as inventory management. You will be working closely with the Asset Manager and not directly providing end-user support. Responsibilities: • Troubleshooting hardware issues, primarily with Dell computers and other devices • Setting up new hardware devices as required • Managing inventory in collaboration with the Asset Manager • Tracking equipment to ensure accurate records • Processing network-based PC imaging • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary • Keeping accurate customer credit records • Efficiently processing customer credit applications Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Hardware/PC Technician • Proficiency in Computer Hardware is required • Familiarity with Dell Technologies is essential • Experience in Desktop Hardware is necessary • Ability to work with Hardware Devices is expected • Skills in Computer Imaging are required • Expertise in Desktop Imaging is desired • Experience in Inventory Tracking is beneficial • Knowledge of Asset Management is crucial Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
