About the Role:
The HW Project Leader (HW PL) is member of a global HW development team to realize automotive IVI and telematics systems. She/he leads the HW development for OEM customer projects, coordinates all HW-related tasks acc. Harman BMS process and guidelines of Hardware Development or/and acts as a representative and assistance of the HW Project ManagerShe/he will be embedded in the Telematics Development Team inside the SBU Connectivity, reporting to the Team Leader of Hardware Project Leader/Engineering Group or/and to Director Hardware EngineeringWhat You Will Do:
Technical lead hardware development projects in the field of automotive infotainment (optional: with safety criteria)- which includes the technical lead of the local HW project team, steering of the project team in remote locations (Bucharest, Shanghai) in close cooperation to the local managers

What You Need:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or appropriate graduation)Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the HW development, verification and industrialization of In-vehicle Infotainment systems or other automotive ECUs of similar complexity levelExperience in the project managementExperience in technical lead of HW teamExperience in requirements management (e.g. DOORS, DNG, ALM) beneficial as well as Microsoft applicationsStructured and result-oriented working styleAbility of teamwork with internal/external teamsGood knowledge in spoken and written EnglishBeneficial Qualifications
Experience in the development of analogue, digital and RF designs, especially in wireless applications (e.g., mobile network technologies) and/or telematics systemsExperience in requirements management (e.g. DOORS, DNG, ALM) beneficialGood knowledge in spoken and written GermanEligibility Requirements
