Summary
We deliver essential technology services to our customers in support of their missions to sustain the national security and economic interests of our nation. SecuriGence is seeking a Hardware / Software Field Service Technician to support the Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Office of Aviation (INL/A). Help us solve problems with Innovation Through Intelligence.
Responsibilities
The Field Service Technician will be part of a dynamic team that provides IT support, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Endpoint IT Systems.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and network issues including video cards, desktop/laptop issues, cabling and physical layer networking issues, and printer troubleshooting and/or maintenance.
+ Provide local and remote Technical Support Services for end users.
+ Diagnose and resolve problems with desktop systems, printers, digital senders, mobile devices, and other standard office equipment.
+ Complete basic hardware work as directed, such as cable management, desktop PC installation, monitors, KVM's, and laptop imaging and issuance.
+ Provide input and update to standard operating procedures.
+ Conduct validation of ticket information to ensure completeness and accuracy and escalate issues via the ticketing system and request for assistance as needed.
+ Participate in/lead special projects and day ‐ to ‐ day operations.
+ Consistently remain customer-focused and provide a high level of customer service.
+ Interact daily with supervisor, peers, and customers and provide polite and friendly customer service.
+ Perform administrative and operational tasks aligned with established standards, Policies, and procedures.
+ May provide leadership to small teams or team members.
+ Experience with satellite communications systems such as Starlink
+ Other duties may be assigned to meet mission and customer needs.
Skills and Experience
+ Proven experience with Windows operating systems, demonstrating versatility in managing diverse environments.
+ Advanced proficiency in Windows Server, infrastructure management, PowerShell scripting, and Linux administration.
+ Hands-on experience with SCCM, OS management, DNS, SAN, group policy, DHCP, and Microsoft Windows technologies.
+ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
Qualifications
+ Minimum 4 years' experience.
+ Secret clearance
+ IT certifications preferred but not mandatory (ie. Network+, Security+, A+, CYSA+)
