SecuriGence is seeking a **Hardware / Software Installation Technician** to support the JSP Endpoint Modernization Program. Help us solve problems with Innovation Through Intelligence.
**Responsibilities**
The IT Hardware Technician will be part of a dynamic team that provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure the secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Endpoint IT Systems.
+ Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user PC workstations and related hardware, peripherals, and software.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and network issues including video cards, desktop/laptop issues, cabling and physical layer networking issues, and printer troubleshooting and/or maintenance.
+ Diagnose and resolve problems with desktop systems, printers, digital senders, mobile devices, and other standard office equipment.
+ Complete basic hardware work as directed, such as cable management, desktop PC installation, monitors, KVM's, and laptop imaging and issuance.
+ Conduct validation of ticket information to ensure completeness and accuracy and escalate issues via ticketing system and requests for assistance as needed.
+ Consistently remain customer-focused and provide a high level of customer service.
+ Interact daily with supervisor, peers, and customers and provide polite and friendly customer service.
+ Hours of Operation: 0700 – 1600
+ On site 5 days a week
+ Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
+ 1+ years relevant experience
+ PC Desktop Hardware troubleshooting experience, or something similar, network connectivity troubleshooting, and peripheral troubleshooting.
+ DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security +CE) required.
+ Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Working technical knowledge of current operating systems and standards for Windows environment, Win 11, and Office 365
+ Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories
+ Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required
+ Strong written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
