Hardware Test Engineer
Job Title: Hardware Test EngineerJob Description We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will play a critical role in our testing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test fixtures, creating layouts, analyzing and gathering data, troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems, and developing code for data analysis. Responsibilities + Design and develop test fixtures to support various testing requirements. + Create detailed layouts for test setups and ensure they meet all specifications. + Collect and analyze data from tests to provide actionable insights. + Diagnose and resolve issues in electro-mechanical systems during testing. + Develop and maintain code/scripts to automate data analysis processes. Essential Skills + Proficiency in test fixture design and mechanical engineering. + Experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems. + Strong data analysis skills. + Proficiency in Python for data analysis. + Experience with hardware testing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. + Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on testing. + Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). + Strong understanding of data analysis tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, Python). + Excellent problem-solving abilities. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. + Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks. Work Environment The candidate will be involved in hardware testing across various Amazon Robotics programs, ranging from prototype to production level. You will be working with other engineers, developing test fixtures, executing test plans, and conducting data collection and analysis.
