Position Overview: 
We are seeking a dedicated Program Support Specialist to join our team at Harvest Hands. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our after school programs and family events. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and families, capable of managing various tasks ranging from organizing practice nights for our sports league, to assisting with classroom needs and facilitating gym activities. The Program Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in building positive relationships with students and families while upholding Harvest Hands' core values. 

Responsibilities:
1. Organize and set up practice nights and activities for students.

2. Facilitate gym and outdoor activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.

3. Assist program coordinators during the after-school program, including snack time, dinner, and classroom activities. 

4. Escort students to the bathroom and ensure their safety during drop off and pick up times. 

5. Collaborate with the team to set up and support family nights and other community events. 

6. Build strong relationships with students and their families, fostering a supportive and inclusive community atmosphere. 

7. Uphold Harvest Hands' core values in all interactions and activities. 

8. All other duties as assigned by the program supervisor.

● This position is based in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, primarily in a school or community center setting. 
● Some evening and weekend hours may be required to support family nights and special events.
