**Hatchery Machine Monitor** **Full Time Hourly** **At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation packag** **e** **. The base hiring pay for this role is** **$20.95** **per hour** **.** + **Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States** + **Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.** **Job Responsibilities:** + Perform scheduled checks on temperatures in holding areas, hatcheries and incubators. + Monitor poult holding room temps and assess poult comfort and well-being. + Follow Bio- Security protocol, safety policy and animal welfare policy. + Schedule shift is 6PM to 6AM. Rotation shift, 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next week. Working in various temperatures from 55-101F with humidity of approx.. 76 degrees. + Basic maintenance and repairs on Hatchery equipment, limited knowledge on pneumatics, plumbing and electrical. + Startup servicing equipment on hatch days.
