**Description** HATCHERY MANAGER in TRAINING Requirements for the position + 4 year degree in applicable field or qualifying field experience in live production + Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power point + Basic accounting skills + Exceptional communication skills + Ability to travel at least 75% of the time while in the program + Willingness to accept open positions regardless of location unless other arrangements are specified at the time of program entry. + Ability to take on difficult task and learn from them + Ability to work with the Live Production and Tech Services Team on a daily basis + Ability to relocate if needed Primary Job Responsibilities and KPI’s: + Complete 4 week rotation in a Jamesway hatchery + Complete 4 week rotation in a Chickmaster hatchery + Complete one week rotation in a complex with single stage incubation + Complete Jamesway incubator training + Complete Chickmaster incubator training + Complete 2 week rotation with 4 industry leaders in hatchery tech services + Complete 2 week rotation with a veterinarian concentrating on break outs and sanitation + Complete 2 week rotation in breeders + Complete 2 embryology seminars + Complete Aviagen hatchery manager training + Complete Cobb hatchery manager training + Complete approved sanitation training EOE/VET/DISABLED
