HATCHERY MANAGER in TRAINING

Requirements for the position

4 year degree in applicable field or qualifying field experience in live productionWorking knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power pointBasic accounting skillsExceptional communication skillsAbility to travel at least 75% of the time while in the programWillingness to accept open positions regardless of location unless other arrangements are specified at the time of program entry.Ability to take on difficult task and learn from themAbility to work with the Live Production and Tech Services Team on a daily basisAbility to relocate if needed

Primary Job Responsibilities and KPI’s:

Complete 4 week rotation in a Jamesway hatcheryComplete 4 week rotation in a Chickmaster hatcheryComplete one week rotation in a complex with single stage incubationComplete Jamesway incubator trainingComplete Chickmaster incubator trainingComplete 2 week rotation with 4 industry leaders in hatchery tech servicesComplete 2 week rotation with a veterinarian concentrating on break outs and sanitationComplete 2 week rotation in breedersComplete 2 embryology seminarsComplete Aviagen hatchery manager trainingComplete Cobb hatchery manager trainingComplete approved sanitation training
