Required Qualifications:
Associate Degree in biological or related sciences and least 1-year experience relevant to the position or High School Diploma role and 2 years volunteer or work experience.Ability to work in a team setting.Ability to embrace diversity in all interactions with clientele, staff, volunteers, and the public.Attention to detailAbility to lift 20 - 50 lbs.Ability to work outdoors and on boats in all weather conditions.Must be reliable and able to work independently as well as with others.Good communication and record-keeping skills.Ability to understand and implement written and oral instructions.Experience with data entry and analysis.Ability or willingness to learn timecard software.Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as appropriate.Valid NYS Driver's License.Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Screen processPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in a related field.Shellfish hatchery, shellfish nursery, or laboratory experience.POSITION DETAILS:
