About this RoleR. R. Cassidy, a rapidly growing Quanta Services company based in Prairieville, Louisiana, is looking for a truck hauler. The candidate should have experience in hauling various types of equipment to support the growth strategies of a heavy construction company.
The ideal candidate must be experienced, self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to embrace the challenges of working with evolving tasks and structures.
What You'll Do Job DescriptionKnowledge of the materials and equipment used in general construction workResponsible for housekeeping-related tasks for the equipment, facility, tools, and jobsitePlans delivery routes based on load weight, height, width, roadway construction, and secures equipment loads. This includes consideration of load height and clearance under standard interstate bridge heights.Ensures the correct bill of laden (BOL) or shipping documentation for each delivery loadResponsible for obtaining and carrying any necessary weight and/or oversized permits prior to tripsCompletes a pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection of tractor, trailer, and securements, including confirmation that truck, trailer, and securement are safe to travel.
