Join us as a Hazard Communication Specialist where you’ll put your love of science to work in the Scientific Insourcing department. You’ll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace®.
Candidate will author Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and complete chemical hazard evaluations to support our customer's regulatory program in this entry-level scientific position. This is a non-lab role.
NOTE: This is a hybrid position after the first 30 days of training onsite. Then 3 days working onsite and 2 days working remotely.
What you’ll do
Author SDS to provide correct and up to date information to customers within the United States and Internationally Hazard evaluations of chemicals and propriety products Review compliance and regulatory information of technical product documents Assist with overflow regulatory compliance projects SAP system maintenanceWhat you’ll bring
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related science. Database management skills Good communication skills, both written and verbal. SAP experience, preferred Familiarity with regulatory programs (OSHA, EPA, FDA, etc) Knowledge of label composition and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) requirements Effectively manage time to ensure that work is completed efficiently. Excellent people skills to get things done and negotiate as needed#LI-RG1
