Hazardous Waste Program Manager
One of Insight Globals clients is seeking a Hazardous Waste Program Manager to sit on-site in Wilmington, Delaware and help them drive delivery on an established Hazardous Waste disposal & chemical packing programs. This program is supporting a higher education customer, and has been in service for multiple years. There has been reorganization at the company, which has caused some delays in KPIs, so our client is seeking a seasond professional in this field to be able to step in, hit the ground running, and maintain a positive working relationship with the customer. This individual must have a strong understanding of EPA & DOT standards, as well as previous experience reviewing quality and accuracy of Lab Packaging. They will monitor the work of a Chemist & 2 technicians, as well as manage them, in order to accomplish these deliverables. Previous industry knowledge and a customer focused mindset is absolutely needed.

Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for all Clean Harbors' activities and programs on customers site.
Manage and coordinate the efforts of the three Clean Harbors onsite employees.
Enlist Clean Harbors' corporate resources as needed to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Assist with managing customers hazardous waste programs.
Manage and track facility wide cradle to grave waste generation, storage, and disposal.
Responsible for proper packaging of waste to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
Schedule transportation and disposal for outgoing wastes as needed.
Provide waste tracking reports as needed.
Maintain adequate levels of equipment for emergency responses and ongoing projects.
Scope special projects and provide estimates.
Assist customers with compiling data necessary for completing the Generator's Annual Report and other required reporting functions.
Conduct facility wide compliance audits to include inspections of staging, accumulating and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping procedures and compliance.
Provide weekly status reports to facility management.
Utilize waste management software to efficiently and accurately manage waste program.
