**Job Title: HAZARDOUS YARD TECHNICIAN NEEDED!** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated **Hazardous Yard Technician** to join our team. This position requires starting at either 5 am or 6 am depending on shipments. The role involves working with and around hazardous material. **Responsibilities** + Start in the 'Drum Land' area separating drums. + Unload waste from incoming vehicles and separate non-autoclavable waste for incineration. + Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload materials (training provided after two months, no prior experience required). + Stage waste on the conveyor system or properly stack waste for scanning into the system. + Scan waste into the system for proper recordkeeping. + Load autoclave bins or incinerator hopper with waste for processing. + Place re-usable containers on the tub wash line for decontamination. + Operate the tub wash unit, ensuring it functions correctly. Remove clean tubs, inspect them, and stack for loading onto assigned vehicles for re-use. + Operate the tub wash sprayer for oversized reusable tubs, ensuring it functions correctly. Inspect tubs and stack for loading onto assigned vehicles for re-use. + Decontaminate the cargo-carrying portion of vehicles, reload assigned re-usable tubs, and ensure no free liquid is on the vehicle floor. Inform the plant supervisor when the vehicle is ready to be moved from the dock area. + Address housekeeping issues immediately, such as cleaning spills, drying floors, and removing debris. + Assist in other areas of plant operations as directed. + Operate a sit down propane forklift! + HEAVY LIFTING 55 pounds and up. + Basic computer skills Schedule; MONDAY- FRIDAY (40 hours+) 5am or 6am start time depending on the shipment load! **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Fresno,CA. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
