Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Capital (HC) Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Capital, including recruitment, employee engagement, learning and development, and HR administration. The successful candidate will work closely with our HC team to support day-to-day operations and projects that contribute to the overall employee experience and business objectives.
The duties and responsibilities
Recruitment administration
Manage the relevant Recruitment Inbox and collating/sorting all vacancies and applicationsConduct ITC checks via MIEMaintain the recruitment applicant tracking systems for each vacancyCorrespond appropriately regarding ad hoc applications and CV’sProcess payments of placement invoicesCoordinate interview schedulingSkills Development administration
Process training-related invoices and resolve queries.Handle logistical arrangements for training events and initiatives.Assist with the administration of the performance review process.Provide quality assistance for ad hoc projects.Induction Admin and Support
Send welcome emails to new joiners.Book developmental assessment sessions six weeks after start dates.Coordinate the Induction program, including sending invitations and preparing Induction packs.Imfundo Trust Admin Support
Send welcome letter and packs to new beneficiariesProvide co ordinating support at Imfundo events (invitations, logistics & gifting)Booking of quarterly student meetings (secure times with student & book venues)Booking of career fairs & school visits (including collateral)Order catering for Imfundo Board MeetingBooking of Imfundo Travel (incl. Trustees)Payment of invoicesCapturing Data for Budget ReconciliationAnnual Student Feedback surveySupport with annual student selectionOther Ad hoc requestsGeneral
Maintain and update the HC SharePoint site.Ensure all HC data is accurate and up to date.Perform general administrative tasks.Assist with ad hoc projects as required.Requirements
Strong interest in the Human Capital field and a passion for people.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.What We Offer

Tasks may include purchasing materials, entering budgetary information, and recording time and expenses.
Document ManagementCreate, organize, and maintain files containing the correspondence and records of a senior colleague.
Document PreparationPrepare routine letters, memoranda, reports, and similar documents following detailed instruction. This is likely to involve using the full range of functions within standard office software.
HR Data ManagementVerify the accuracy and completeness of HR data provided, and enter the data into HR information systems, following defined procedures.
Record KeepingMaintain accurate and timely records of actions and activities or case notes, in accordance with well-defined processes and requirements, so that information is accessible and auditable.
Insights and ReportingExtract simple/automatic data in various forms (graphs, charts, etc.) to include in reports.
Operational ComplianceDevelop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.
Personal Capability BuildingDevelop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
