**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Job Title:** Driver **Employment Type:** Part Time **Shift:** Day **(SUMMARY) Position Highlights:** + **Competitive salary** + **Benefits –** Medical, Dental & Vision, PTO, Free Parking, Metro Access, Tuition Reimbursement, 403(b) + **Quality of Life:** Flexible work schedules + **Advancement:** Career growth opportunities + **Location:** Holy Cross Health has two hospitals and four healthcare centers all a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD **Description:** + **Part Time - 4:30 am - 10:15 am (Monday - Friday)** + Location: Silver Spring, MD + Protection Services Department + This position reports to Parking Supervisor + Driver will need to have necessary skills to operate a 15-passenger van in heavy traffic. **Responsibilities:** + Driver will need to possess excellent people skills and the ability to get along well with passengers. + Will be required to do routine checks such as oil and water on all security vehicles. + Must be able to articulate that they understand Maryland traffic regulations. + Must possess ability to clearly communicate location and departure/arrival times over the phone. **What you will need:** + Must have a valid Maryland Driver’s license with a good driving record. + Must have clean driving record that demonstrates the ability to operate a vehicle safely and in accordance with the law. + Must pass the certification in shipping infectious substances/dangerous goods course within the first 2 days of orientation. + Must pass the medication security health stream course. + Must wear a HCH uniform. + Must possess and operate a cell phone **Pay Range: $17.58 - $21.63** Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
