HDDC Appliance Installer - MD
Position Purpose:

The Appliance Installer I is responsible for installing appliances for HDDC customers. They are responsible for the delivery and installation of products. The Appliance Installer I must ensure timely completion of all jobs and installations. The Appliance Installer I is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through timely, quality installation of products and services offered. The Appliance Installer I is responsible to ensure compliance and proper adherence to job process and installation standards.


Key Responsibilities:70% Customer ServiceEnsures timely completion of all jobs and installationsListens to and resolves install complaints in the field and escalates issues if beyond their skill setDelivers appliances and plumbing products to customer's home or other specified locationDocument all pertinent information with regard to daily delivery and installation paperwork for accurate record keepingObtain customer signature on packing slip for the receipt of goods with regard to pick-up, delivery or InstallsFollows-up on customer concernsEnsures customer needs are met30% Appliance InstallationWorks with team members to install appliancesEnsures compliance and proper adherence to job process and installation standardsDiagnoses installation issues, seeking additional support as neededCleans and maintains the interior of vehicleCommunicate status of each stop to scheduling and routing dept. along with accounting for accurate billing processPerform routine inspections on vehicle using vehicle inspection form and report any immediate safety concern to management
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:Reports to the Appliance Installation ManagerThis position has no direct reports
Travel Requirements:Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.
Physical Requirements:Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
Working Conditions:Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
