Head Athletic Trainer in a NCAA Division I collegiate, coeducational athletic training program.Tennessee Tech is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. Essential Functions Specific duties include supervising the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, assisting with physical examinations, supervising graduate student athletic trainers, providing athletic trainer coverage of athletic practices and contests, to include travel with assigned athletic teams, and assisting with administrative duties. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. One year of athletic training experience. National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification “national” certification. Tennessee Athletic Trainers “state” license or eligibility for license. Beyond meeting minimum requirements, candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for serving as an assistant athletic trainer in a NCAA Division I collegiate, coeducational athletic training program.
