Job Description

We’re on the lookout for a Head Bartender to shake things up as part of our team. You'll be a key player in crafting our awesome beverage lineup and making our place a total hit. Your leadership, creativity behind the bar, and drive to excellence are what make our guests keep coming back for more.

What you’ll do…

Lead the bar operations, including launching the beverage program for opening with support and guidance from your Restaurant GMLead and develop the bar team, manage schedules and all staff costsBe creative, share ideas, develop and implement our bar strategy – play a part in innovating our bar concept and staying on (and even ahead) of trendsKnow your product and systems inside out - you'll lead ordering, prep and inventoryInspire through regular trainings, creating and hosting knowledge sessions both for your team and to the wider business, expanding your teams knowledge while keeping everyone else up to speed with the beverage programsLead your team by example, driving service standards that strive for the best for the guest; encouraging your team to grow and developAssist the Restaurant GM with the bar's P&LImplement upsell strategiesManage brand partnerships & activations
Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a top-level bar operations role, with a background in cocktail menu development, ideally in a luxury or lifestyle bar environmentYou know the Miami bar scene and come with a strong networkExcellent spirits and wines product knowledge – ideally WSET level 2 or aboveA love for all things beverage; cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, coffee, teasExceptional cocktail knowledge of both classic cocktail styles and modern techniquesAn understanding of bar financials – P&L, GP & COGs, labor metrics, forecastingThe face of the bar – a host, a personality, someone that guests will come back for time and time againProven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation, a natural at managing and inspiring others in a way that gets the best out of them.Someone who lives for restaurants and bars – you should be up to speed with the best in the business both locally and internationallyPassion for hospitality – you’re all about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleaguesHard working, detail focused, and always looking to improve both the program and the businessAbility to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.You can turn any situation around into a positive experience for all, guests and team alike.You think big and encourage your team to believe.You are comfortable with the strategic as well as day to day detail.
