Duties and responsibilities of the Head Chef role include
· Lead the Culinary Experience: Reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager, you will oversee all culinary operations, including All-Day Dining, Bar, Events, In-Room Dining, and Colleague Dining, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences for our guests in collaboration with departmental leaders.
· Drive Excellence: Uphold and implement brand standards, inspiring your team to consistently deliver exceptional service that exceeds guest expectations.
· Cultivate Culinary Talent: Lead the recruitment, selection, and development of culinary professionals, fostering a culture of growth through training, coaching, and mentoring.
· Maximise Revenue and Manage Costs: Collaborate with department heads to optimise revenue and manage costs effectively, driving profitability across all culinary outlets.
· Strategic Planning: Coordinate and prepare the Annual Business Plan for the culinary division, ensuring alignment with the hotel's overarching goals.
· Stay Ahead of Trends: Analyse market trends, evaluate competitors, and engage with vendors to ensure the hotel's offerings remain innovative and competitive.
· Enhance Guest Satisfaction: Work closely with leadership and management teams to ensure the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of every guest.
