Head Coach - Men & Women's Golf
Job Summary: The Head Coach position will be responsible for the day to day operations of two (2) college level programs and conduct the programs in compliance with all applicable NCAA, Northeast-10 and Institutional rules and regulations. These responsibilities will be performed in an ethical manner consistent with the University's mission, vision and values which include diversity, equity, and inclusion Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Plan, organize and direct all activities involved with establishing and running the Franklin Pierce University (FPU) men’s and women’s golf programs. + A majority of coaching duties will be teaching their respective sport to students. This coaching is expected to be in person. + Provide instruction and development for individual and team improvement, analyze athlete    performance, and prepare student-athletes for competition. + Maintain positive and professional relations with students, athletes, alumni and other constituents. + Monitor student-athlete academic performance to ensure academic success. + Recruit and retain student-athletes within compliance regulations and academic admissions standards. + Coordinate all activities for home and away games including team travel plans, transportation, and lodging. + Evaluate and purchase equipment as necessary. + Coordinate scheduling of practice and games with the golf course. + Participate in fundraising and public relations activities. + Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet requirements of the position, including early mornings, nights and weekends. + Must be able to work in team relationships with diverse students, faculty, staff and alumni. + This position is considered a Responsible Employee for purposes of the College’s Sexual Misconduct Policy. As such, this position is required to report any incident of sexual misconduct or interpersonal violence to the college’s Title IX Coordinator when made aware of such. + Other duties as assigned. Experience and Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 3 years coaching experience or equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Strong and established recruiting skills are required.  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
