Under general supervision, administers, manages, and leads all strategic aspects of the University’s NCAA Division 1 Volleyball program in such a manner as to build and maintain a competitive, quality program that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the University at all times.

Oversees all coaching responsibilities for the program,including planning, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices and training, and coaching at all competitions.Oversees all recruiting activity for the program in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations.Schedules all practices and competitions for the program.Recommends for employment and manages staff of assistant coaches.Oversees all administrative and financial operations of the program, including partnering with the Executive Director of the Bruin Club on any fundraising initiatives or stewardship needs.Represents the program to various institutional programs and externally to media, government agencies, funding agencies, students, parents, and the general public.Complies with all NCAA, Conference, University, and Department of Athletics policies.The above statements describe the job’s essential responsibilities and requirements.  They are not an exhaustive list of the duties that may be assigned to job incumbents.
