POSITION: Head Cook

Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Head Cook for ASM Global/Stockton Complex. Directly responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation, and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the event day operation of the kitchen, coordinate food production and ensure the highest level of food quality, taste and presentation.Supervises temporary labor. Fulfills the service per each Banquet Event Order (BEO). Prepares recipes as directed. Maintains all kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance. Designs buffet food presentations. Maintains a clean and safe working environment.Other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise Kitchen staff in conjunction with the Executive Chef.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or GED certificate.1 year experience in a banquet facility preparing meals for large events.1 year experience in culinary.Skills and Abilities

Compensation
The compensation for this position will range from $18.50 to $20.00 depending on experience.
