YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

We are looking for a Head of Medical Authoring to lead global Medical Writing (MW) projects across all therapeutic areas and development phases (Phase 1-3). This pivotal role ensures timely and high-quality document production, critical for successful drug development and approval.

 

Key tasks

 

Oversee planning, development, and delivery of clinical documents for regulatory submissions.Implement effective medical writing processes and standards to ensure quality deliverables.Collaborate on innovations and technologies to enhance MW operations.Develop and maintain a skilled MW team with expertise across projects.Partner with training and sourcing teams to ensure professional development and outsourcing strategies.Foster collaboration and remove roadblocks to achieve team goals.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Master’s degree in a scientific discipline with 8+ years in the pharmaceutical industry (or 10+ years with an advanced degree).Strong understanding of drug development, regulatory requirements, and clinical processes.Proven experience in medical writing and project management.Excellent communication skills and proficiency with electronic authoring tools.Demonstrated leadership qualities: visionary, catalyst, architect, and coach.
