Your role

As a Head of Accounting CEE, your role will be leading the coordination of local accounting activities within the EAST region, covering financial and management accounting, as well as commercial reporting. You’ll manage a dynamic team, driving accuracy and efficiency while contributing to regional financial success.

 

Main responsibilities:

Ensure accurate reporting for consolidation and local management Lead coordination between GBS, stakeholders, and activities Support GBS in final reporting and local Financial Statements Keep GBS and business updated on Statutory and Tax regulations Manage accounting projects with GBS and business on key topics Review critical balance sheet accounts and business flows Oversee local contracts and coordinate postings with GBS Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable to streamline processes Assist Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning Provide ad hoc analysis and support to the business Act as primary contact for local authorities and tax matters Coordinate with Tax Corporate Dpt. and consultants on Transfer Pricing and other activities

 

Candidate’s Profile:

10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Strong experience in managing teams, preferably across multiple countries. Solid knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP), and internal controls. Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel modelling. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CMA designation preferred). Fluent English
