We’re looking for an Investment Banker to:
• advise companies on how to respond to and manage shareholder activist campaigns, unsolicited bids, proxy contests and other bids for corporate control
• analyze activist investor's strategy and motivations
• assess the potential impact of activist campaigns
• share recent trends and developments in corporate acquisitions and takeovers, the capital markets and shareholder activism
• review client’s takeover defenses (in conjunction with client counsel), and discuss available alternatives to improve those defenses
• present to internal and external clients effectively and with confidence
• collaborate with colleagues across the globe to provide clients with seamless execution
• generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward
• make sound and balanced judgments (and always within professional, ethical, regulatory, and legal standards)

• New York: the salary range for this role is $325000 to $325000
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
