Overview of job
 

The Head of Agency will be responsible for leading the agency and specialist team in outdoor and will be responsible for revenue across Outdoor including DAXO. The role is also responsible for ensuring that we are proactively making recommendations within the agencies and specialist that help deliver the right blend for Global.

The Head of agency is also responsible for ensuring we are deliverying thought leadership pieces across agency and specialist and building our brand. They should also be ensuring we are working towards our vision, mission and purpose (making everyone love outdoor as much as we do).

The Head of Agency and their teams will be responsible for proactive revenue generation and client servicing across all agencies (specialist) within their group. The Head of Agency is accountable for ensuring we are delivering new ideas, insights and story based recommendations in agencies.


The Head of Agency will nurture business relationships with senior personnel with a specific focus on influencing the planning community, whilst still ensuring that we are servicing and upselling at the specialist.

In the first few months, you would have

Built a new agency facing team with clear roles and responsibilities

Worked with the Director of Agency and your Trading peers to agree key measures of success for the business units for the remainder of the financial year 

Worked closely with respective head of agency in outdoor and Audio to ensure levels of co-operation and communication remain positive

Building new team processes (i.e. key internal meetings, management of revenue targets and development of culture)

Set out and fulfilled a contact plan of key agency and specialist stakeholders

Write a joint plan with your trading counterpart to ensure we are aligned

Collaborate with the outdoor Leadership team to ensure you are clear on your role in delivering the 6 pillars within the outdoor strategy

Responsibilities of the role

Lead and develop a high-performing team

Understand the key challenges and issues our customers face and ensure that your team are helping to provide solutions to these challenges

Ensuring we are seen as experts in our channel and products and key partners to our customers

Lead your team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the effective running of the day-to-day business

Work closely with the outdoor trading team to ensure accurate forecasting and delivering the right product mix for your group

Develop influential relationships with senior stakeholders across your agency customer group with a specific focus on the planning community

Work closely with the head of agency audio on joint agency initiatives and ways of working

What you will need
 

Experience

Leading high performing media sales teams

A strong understanding of Outdoor media planning and buying

A strong understanding of agencies and senior relationships across all planning teams

Proven track record in nurturing client relationships

Qualifications

No formal qualifications required

Soft skills

Excellent time management and personal organisation

Clear communication to a wide variety of role types including to customers

Excellent teamwork

Ability to motivate a team of individuals

Technical skills

Ability to use Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel,

Good understanding of the application of industry measurement tools - route
