What You’ll Do
As the Head of AI Operations, you will be a dedicated bold, AI champion driving the adoption, optimization, and strategic evolution of AI across all internal teams at JustAnswer. To meet our ambitious AI aspirations, we need a full-time leader with a clear mandate to accelerate AI's impact. Thie role will lead strategic programs, reimagine organizational practices, manage cross-functional efforts, and ensure alignment with our company’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy and Program Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with organizational goals. Lead cross-departmental AI efforts, ensuring cohesive execution and measurable outcomes. AI Tool Assessment and Optimization: Conduct end-to-end evaluations of AI tools in use across the organization to identify opportunities for optimization. Provide actionable insights on AI spending and the value derived, enabling data-driven investment decisions. Behavioral Change and Alignment: Drive organizational behavior change to foster a culture of AI integration and continuous learning. Align disparate teams to work collaboratively, breaking silos and building synergy. Build, Buy, or Borrow Recommendations: Assess AI tools and technologies to determine the most effective strategy for achieving organizational goals. Provide clear recommendations on whether to develop in-house solutions, purchase tools, or collaborate with external providers. Project Management and Execution: Oversee the execution of AI-related efforts, managing timelines, resources, and risks with precision. Regularly communicate progress, milestones, and results to stakeholders across the company. Leadership Experience: Proven track record in leading complex, organization-wide programs, ideally related to AI, technology, or digital transformation. AI Knowledge: Solid understanding of AI technologies, trends, and best practices in applying AI to drive business impact. Strategic Thinking: Ability to define long-term strategic goals while managing day-to-day execution. Organizational Influence: Exceptional communication and influencing skills to inspire change and align diverse teams. Data-Driven Approach: Analytical mindset with a focus on leveraging data for decision-making and optimization. Project Management Skills: Strong planning, execution, and prioritization skills to drive results effectively. Alignment with Values: Demonstrated commitment to fostering a work environment that aligns with JustAnswer’s values and culture.Desired Outcomes in the First 120-days
Deliver at least three high-impact, AI-powered "quick wins" across different departments. Complete an organization-wide audit of all AI tools and technologies, providing an assessment of their effectiveness and alignment with goals. Assessment of all AI tools across the organization reporting current adoption rates, costs, and performance. Provide a detailed analysis of AI-related expenditures and their ROI. Improving alignment and coordination among various AI training courses/workshops/materials. Deliver a self-service hub/AI University. Launch programs to embed AI adoption into daily workflows, with measurable cultural shifts evident by the 6-month mark. Provide strategic recommendations on what AI tools to buy, build, or borrow for the various needs across the organization. Deliver a comprehensive AI operational strategy including metrics of success (e.g. adoptions rates, ROI, etc.) Organize an AI Virtual Summit or similar event to share and celebrate learnings and successes internally.
