Are you a passionate communications expert with a proven track record of leading a global team and driving impactful campaigns? We're looking for a dedicated individual to join Siemens Smart infrastructure (SI) and play a pivotal role in shaping Siemens' future.

As our Head of Communications Buildings Business Unit (BU), part of Siemens Smart Infrastructure, you will be responsible for creating a thriving, inclusive work environment and driving our communications strategy to generate awareness, leads, and business opportunities.

In this role you are reporting to the Head of SI Communications and the Business Unit CEO of SI Buildings. You will empower a team to build the highest impact for growth in Smart Infrastructure.


Your new responsibilities

Drive reputation-to-demand for the SI Buildings Business Unit by developing a data-driven communication strategy Create a growing, inclusive and high performing work environment with clear and measurable objectives for the team Stay ahead of market, industry, and technological trends, particularly in AI, to ensure our strategies remain relevant and impactful Design and implement campaigns aimed at generating awareness and leads, significantly contributing to the business's growth. Develop performance and dashboards that will support analyze the effectiveness of initiated projects and campaigns Ensure our digital experiences and the Siemens Xcelerator Marketplace are leveraged to create new business opportunities Act as a trusted advisor for the BU and SI Communications management and develop and drive all activities the team is responsible for (incl. budget responsibility), ensure effective cooperation with internal or external partners Lead and empower the BU Communications team, ensuring alignment and synergy across all country teams Coach and support team members in their professional development through mentorship and a commitment to growth Champion employee engagement initiatives and participate in transformational and cultural projects that strengthen our workplace culture Provide strategic support in positioning topics and executives in the market.

Your talents and experience

Master's degree in communications, marketing or a related field Minimum of 8 years of diverse professional experience in various communication roles, with leadership responsibilities in multicultural team settings Demonstrated ability in verbal communication and presentations, with a keen business acumen to build networks and partnerships within the communicator community Strong service attitude with a digital mindset, coupled with an understanding of digital trends, lead generation strategies, and effective campaign execution Resilient and adaptable, capable of initiating and managing change while promoting a growth mindset within the team Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills Empathy and intercultural understanding, with a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace Fluent in English, both written and spoken
