About the Job
As part of the Account to Report (A2R) transformation there are several projects wherein activities will be standardized and bucketed in the Global Hub (Hyderabad) and the Regional Hubs in Budapest, Bogota and KL. Activities therefore will move from the Regional Hubs to the Global Hub and from the Countries to the Regional Hubs.
In this context there is a need to also work on continues balance sheet and trial balance review to improve financial statement hygiene and to ensure quick review of red flags.
It is therefore proposed to build this expertise in Hyderabad wherein the function will run on a Global scale and perform this analysis for all the entities in Sanofi especially those entities which have a materiality considering the overall Sanofi Balance sheet.
Key Accountabilities
In this context the main duties of the Head of Continuous Balance Sheet Review & Analytics are:
+ Review the Balance Sheet/Trial Balance on a regular basis and identify items which are unreconciled/not justified.
+ Follow-up to get the ageing performed by the Regional Hubs/Retained Teams; sometimes the ageing analysis may have to be performed by the Continuous Balance sheet review team itself.
+ Have regular connect calls with the Retained Organization to understand old items are cleared
+ Document what each account contains and also what the flow of entries in the account i.e how the account is populated through auto entries from other modules and/or manual booking via journal entries
+ Review the KPI’s for each country and Hub and recommend actionable plans to the Head of A2R, Delivery Services for necessary follow-up
+ Work on the Digital Technology Enablement and system enhancements and more particularly:
+ Edge Reports for review of Balance Sheet and P&L
+ Solar Reports - Analysis
+ Work on additional Power BI Dashboards needed to analyze and improve performance
+ Perform additional tasks as needed to improve the overall A2R performance from a quality standpoint.
+ Communicate and interact with all levels of management within and outside of A2R i.e other service tower heads, heads of Global functions like Tax and Treasury, Finance, CFO’s as needed.
About You
Functional Skills
+ At least 12 -15 years´ experience in accounting with understanding of SAP, Blackline and other accounting/finance solutions
+ Strong understanding of Account to Report process
+ Good business acumen
+ Strong problem solving, deductive and analytical skills
Technical Skills
+ Hands-on experience on SAP, TM1, Blackline, Sanofi reporting systems like Solar, TIMI, TWIN etc.
+ Deep knowledge on SharePoint capabilities is critical.

+ Excellent stakeholder management skills.
+ Excellent written and oral communication & inter-personal skills.
+ Self-starter, initiative-taker, and ability to work independently under pressure and deliver high level of customer service.
+ Exceptional multi-tasker, able to establish priorities and timelines.
+ Efficient analytical skills; attention to detail.
+ Adaptability to work in ambiguous, constantly changing situations, including flexibility in working hours to accommodate working with different regions/geographies.

+ Excellent English written and verbal.
