As Citi's technology team continues to evolve rapidly, we seek a highly experienced Spanish Speaking Senior Technology Managing Director to facilitate our path towards the future of Global Core Banking.
Your role will be pivotal in the modernization of our Core Banking platform across 12 countries. You will be responsible for leading modernization transformation efforts across multiple strategic global programs, ensuring the standardization of Core Banking products, capabilities, and flows across various lines of business. The role requires senior technical leadership to ensure that the program meets its business objectives and establishes a robust target state platform, architecture, and operating model.

Responsibilities:
+ Establish a robust framework to lead the multiyear modernization program across all the products and geographies in scope
+ Managing a large scale banking platform transformation project across multiple countries
+ Develop roles, responsibilities, and structure team to ensure greatest impact, efficient use of resource, and alignment to business structures
+ Establish strong governance on capability and scope definition as well as a Business Design Authority forum to monitor and track functional decisions.
+ Identify ways to streamline the platform and architecture while collaborating with other Operations & Technology teams to align technology solutions to standards.
+ Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions and communicate with external parties as necessary.
+ Hold end-to-end ownership of key program decisions, including end to end solution, interactions between the core banking platform and partners.
+ Lead the execution through an agile approach in close partnership with the Product
+ Manage regulatory agenda in line with broader business goals and work with other key Information Technology (IT) and business stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery and prioritization of initiatives
+ Deliver cost savings and greater efficiency through innovation, process improvement, simplification of the technology stack and strategic outsourcing, and vendor partnerships
+ Drive culture change to foster a holistic end-to-end view of business flows
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Skills and Experience:
+ 15+ years of relevant experience
+ 10+ years of managerial experience
+ Experience in a senior technology leadership role within Core Banking
+ Fluent Spanish Language, Speaking and Written
+ Advanced knowledge of industry practices, standards, rules, and regulations
+ Working knowledge of risk and control
+ Demonstrated knowledge of software development processes and practices
+ Demonstrated knowledge of architecture, complex systems, and key technology areas within funds administration
+ Ability to build and maintain peer and business relationships
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
+ Master’s degree preferred

**Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:**
$250,000.00 - $500,000.00
