Head of Cyber Security

Description We are seeking a Head of Cyber Security to join our team in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves leading and guiding crucial programs, providing leadership to our IT Infrastructure and Security teams, and integrating cybersecurity into our overall business strategy. You will represent the cybersecurity department in discussions with regulatory bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and guide critical programs in collaboration with Engineering teams and Cyber Security organization.
• Oversee all aspects of cybersecurity operations as a high-level leader of the IT Infrastructure and Security teams.
• Integrate cybersecurity measures into the overall business strategy in collaboration with other business leaders.
• Represent the cybersecurity department in discussions with regulatory bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Report regularly on the overall performance and status of the cybersecurity department.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of running programs with cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Understand 'security by design' principles and architecture level security concepts.
• Stay updated on current and emerging security threats and techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities.
• Have a working knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62243, NIST 800-53, NIST RMF, etc.
• Understand development methods and methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, SCRUM, etc.
• Understand DevSecOps.
• Conduct secure product reviews leveraging both automated and manual activities. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in Cyber Security or a related field
• Proficient in Access Control and Cisco Technologies
• Demonstrated experience with Database and EO/IR systems
• In-depth knowledge of Firewall Technologies and Active Directory
• Proven ability in Auditing and Authentication
• Familiarity with Computer Hardware and Configuration Management
• Expertise in Security Vulnerability and Vulnerability Assessments - Audits
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Relevant certifications in Cyber Security are desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
