 WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?  

The Head of Cyber Services, US provides leadership, drives the strategic direction and is responsible for cyber services delivered within or into US ensuring services are documented, accountability is identified (global vs. local), quality and value levels are defined and managed. This role provides leadership to and responsible for rolling out Global Cyber Services into US business lines.

Provides leadership and is responsible for the cyber standardization and regional consolidation strategy, working in close partnership with GCS strategic initiatives including how that translates into transformation/change initiatives.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?  

Drive MRA regulatory remediation efforts within the US for the Global Cyber Services and drive adoption of central cyber services were possible.Develop and own the regional cyber service delivery strategy, roadmap, and operating model.  Manage and measure how services are delivered, evaluating quality requirements, defining KPIs.  Establish and maintain a service catalogue.  Engage with GCS service owners to ensure adjustments are made where quality/value metrics are not achieved, when new services are onboarded, where services are decommissioned or where regional requirements must be delivered.Develop and implement an approach for matrix managing regional GCS colleagues who functionally align into enterprise line managers, ensuring local line management and leadership is in place. Partner with the US region to standardize approaches.Determine and provide reports to analyze service performance to ensure value in region (quality and cost); collaborate with GCS Strategic Initiatives team on transfer pricing and other aspects, which must be tied into service monitoring.Own the regional engagement model with TI to ensure TI dependencies enabling cyber service delivery in the region are identified, and the cross T&O operating relationship is managed and maintained.Act as a security advisor/ambassador across business platforms in region, identifying cyber security issues and partnering with service owners to define and implement solutions.Define and drive a standardization roadmap, to ensure targets for globalized cyber services are achieved in region.  Partner with GCS strategic initiatives to build transformation business cases, for standardization or strategic remediation in region.Interact daily across all businesses on the full range of cyber service matters, providing guidance and support for security needs where necessary (or engaging broader GCS services for support)Act as the regional CISO’s delegate when necessary – which includes subboard level reporting to the range of regional subsidiaries.Operate as one of the CISO delegates for US security incidents.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

 Must have:  

10+ years of proven cyber security experience (ideally at a consulting or ‘broad and shallow’ not deep SME level)3+ years’ experience in strategic relationship management, delivery performance analysis, and negotiations2-4 years in the financial services or other regulated industries, , working at the management levelStrong business and financial acumen plus operational mindsetDemonstrated ability to build sustainable, transparent relationships / partnerships, with the ability to coach and partner across a matrix organizationStrategic Thinker / Thought LeaderStrong team leadership and people skillsUnderstand RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviors that contribute to RBC goalsLeverage the value in unit, department, platform and enterprise wide teams to develop better solutions and achieve a cross enterprise mindset

The good-faith expected salary range in NJ for the above position is $200,000-325,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
