We are expanding our Global Corporate Information Security Team and looking forward new colleagues and leaders joining us in Bulle (FR) Switzerland, we are looking for a Head of Data Security reporting to Head of Digital Security at Liebherr International. The scope of duties includes the following:
Responsibilities:Oversees the organization’s global data security strategy and implementation to protect sensitive data assets across IT, OT and Cloud Environments, as well as Global Leadership of Data Security Team, Products and Services.
Develop and implement a comprehensive data security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Oversee data security, labeling, and access control mechanisms in collaboration with Data Governance. Implement and manage data encryption and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions. Manage data encryption and key management systems (e.g. PKI) Develop and enforce data protection strategies, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR) in collaboration with Data Protection. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in data storage, processing, and transmission. Collaborate with IT, legal, and business teams to secure sensitive data across all platforms. Manage incident response for data breaches, including investigation, remediation, and reporting. Implement monitoring and technical auditing mechanisms to track data access and usage across the organization. Drive data security awareness and training programs to reinforce best practices among employees. Competencies: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years in cybersecurity and 3+ years in a leadership role. Following certificates are preferred; CISSP or CISM. English is a Must, German and French are a plus. Excellent knowledge of data security concepts, principles including data governance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) Knowledge of data security technologies and tools (e.g., DLP, cloud encryption, tokenization). Experience with cryptographic solutions and protocols (e.g., PKI, PGP, KMS, HSM) Ability to think critically and solve complex problems Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences Ability to manage and collaborate with stakeholders Project management Readiness for global travel Our offer:
