We are looking for a Head of Digital Innovation who is visionary, strategic, and collaborative to join our Transformational Programs & Infrastructure team, based in our campus in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.

 

About the Role

As the Head of Digital Innovation, you will be the digital trailblazer for the Patient Supply Department. You will define the digital innovation vision and capabilities required to achieve our transformational goals. You will develop strategic digital partnerships, identify innovative ways of working, and design the digital application landscape. You will oversee the quality of digital transformation projects across Patient Supply and act as a critical change agent within the organization.

Our digital program is covering a large part of UCB business, from development (not R&D) to supply chain, including manufacturing and quality.  The program aims at  building digital foundations (e.g. data acquisition, data platform, data governance, paperless operations...), optimizing our core processes (e.g. e-batch records, e-lab notebook, IoT, predictive maintenance, yield optimization...) and  transform some part of our business (techno, data, people, org) to increase our future competitiveness (e.g. re-thinking batch release, product submission, End-to-end supply visibility and planning,...).

 

Who You Will Work With

You will collaborate with a dynamic team of peers and colleagues within the Transformational Programs & Infrastructure function, across Patient Supply and beyond. Together, you will drive the definition and setup of our digital landscape and digital ecosystems, identify and prototype innovative solutions and continuously inspire the teams to challenge status quo thanks to disruptive You will also engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the transformation meets the needs of all parties, including patients.

 

What You Will Do

You define and lead the digital innovation strategy across Patient Supply, including GenAI and Digital Twin.You define digital innovation roadmaps based on value impact and rapidly test innovative ideas to confirm potential and feasibility.You collaborate with stakeholders to develop and foster a network of digital innovation.You develop strategic partnerships and the digital landscape for Patient Supply.You oversee the quality of digital transformation projects.You continuously scout for new innovative digital solutions.

 

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, IT or relevant field.Minimum 10 years of experience in deploying digital innovation at scale in the industry field.Proven track record of driving digital innovation and achieving strategic objectives.Extensive experience in developing strategic and operational digital innovation networks.Passion for new digital technologies and processes.Excellent communication (French + English) and influencing skills.
