About the Role: 

This role is at the forefront of the company’s media and digital strategy, responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive media approach that ensures brand success in a highly competitive marketplace. By integrating traditional and digital media, this leader will critical metrics such as Share of Voice (SOV), Share of Search, engagement, walkability, and conversion. Additionally, they will oversee the alignment of retail media and connected TV (CTV) opportunities, driving an interconnected ecosystem that optimizes consumer reach and impact. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Holistic Media Strategy 

Develop and implement a company-wide media strategy that positions all brands for success in the marketplace. 

Ensure strategies are designed to outperform competitors on key critical metrics such as SOV, Share of Search, walkability, engagement, and conversion. 

Seamlessly integrate retail media and connected TV opportunities into media plans to enhance reach and effectiveness. 

Campaign and Communication Leadership 

Built an implement of annual brand communication strategies, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives. 

Serve as the key advocate for media opportunities that unlock future growth for the company’s portfolio of brands. 

Ensure a balance between mental availability (brand awareness) and product availability through connected strategies. 

Media Performance and Insights 

Use data-driven methodologies to optimize media investments and performance, ensuring effective full-funnel measurement. 

Oversee investment optimization through innovative strategies such as first-party data monetization and audience micro segmentation. 

Drive the digital transformation of media metrics from traditional models to advanced insights and analytics frameworks. 

Retail Media and CTV Integration 

Identify and maximise retail media opportunities to connect consumers with the brands in both physical and digital environments. 

Build strategies that integrate connected TV into broader media plans, ensuring high-quality content alignment and measurable outcomes. 

Agency and Partner Development 

Strengthen partnerships with media agencies, ensuring alignment with company goals and encouraging their development. 

Guide agencies to deliver premier solutions in areas such as programmatic advertising, precision marketing, and digital asset creation. 

Team Leadership and Future Growth 

Shape the future of the media team by fostering innovation, building capabilities, and embracing new technologies and ways of working. 

Build a high-performing, agile team environment, inspiring and mentoring members to reach their full potential. 

Develop frameworks for the team to operate more efficiently while driving creativity and brilliant execution. 

Compliance and Global Alignment 

Ensure adherence to global mandates for cost savings and efficiency while maintaining the integrity of brand-building initiatives. 

Align media strategies with global objectives, demonstrating shared findings and standard methodologies across markets. 

 

Qualifications: 

Education: in Marketing, Advertising, or related field (certifications in Digital Marketing preferred). 

Experience: 

Minimum 5+ years in media and communications roles, with a track record of leading competitive brand-building initiatives. 

Experience handling both traditional and digital media strategies, with shown success in retail media and connected TV applications. 

Proficient in media agency management, media negotiations, and campaign return on investment optimization. 

Confirmed expertise in tracking and optimizing critical metrics like SOV, Share of Search, engagement, and conversion. 

Skills: 

Deep understanding of modern consumer behaviors and their intersections with digital and retail environments. 

Proficiency in search optimization, programmatic advertising, and CRM platforms. 

Outstanding leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
